KUALA LUMPUR: The Prime Minister will table a special motion in the Dewan Rakyat to condemn the Israeli attack on humanitarian aid mission vessels to Gaza.
Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, in the motion, will demand that the UN Security Council censure Israel and to refer it to the International Criminal Court over the matter.
This is among the 15 resolutions listed to be tabled in the Dewan which sits again today.
The special motion also calls for an independent investigation to be conducted on the attack, demand Israel to not block any humanitarian aid convoy to the Palestinians in Gaza and appeal to the international community to continue extending humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The motion, to be seconded by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, states that the Zionist regime’s attack on the vessels is in violation of international law including human rights law, international humanitarian law and the Charter of the United Nations.
